SiSTec sierra leone


The idea of Sierra Schools of Technology SiSTec for short came about due to the large dropout of school children and huge scale unemployment of youths especially Girls in Sierra Leone. Against this back drop SiSTec was established April 2, 2008 by Elongima Bundu and patriotic Sierra Leonean who had studied at the University wanted to see young people especially, school children (Girls) participate in rural development using their Information & Communication Technology as a career.


SiSTec-SL in delivering basic ICT skills as means of empowerment for an already lifeless situation for the majority of in-school and out-of-school young people in need of skill and has impacted the lives of school children, stakeholders and the community people in Sierra Leone by providing hardware, software, networking, desktop, Microfinance, publishing and free internet services to all school going pupils in the community
